About Isabel

As a high school student, I have always been passionate about reading and learning about different cultures. I believe that reading is a powerful tool for understanding and appreciating the world around us. It helps us see the world through the eyes of others, develop empathy and compassion, and celebrate our differences.
When I was in elementary school, I noticed that there weren’t many books featuring characters and stories from different cultures. This made me feel like my own experiences and culture weren’t represented. I wanted to create an organization that would provide elementary school students with access to diverse books and educational resources so that they could learn about different cultures and traditions from a young age.
I’m passionate about *Pages of the World* because I believe that cultural diversity and literacy are essential for creating a more inclusive and empathetic society. I want all children to have the opportunity to learn about and appreciate different cultures. I believe that reading diverse books can help us become more global citizens and build a better world.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children through *Pages of the World*. I believe that every child deserves access to diverse books and educational resources. I am committed to working toward a more inclusive and empathetic society, and I believe that *Pages of the World* is a step in the right direction.

About Alexa

As the co-founder of Pages of the World, I am deeply passionate about fostering cultural understanding from a young age. Since childhood, I’ve had a love for both reading and learning about the unique traditions, histories, and perspectives that exist around the globe. This passion drives my belief that every child should have the chance to expand their worldview through the pages of a book.
The idea for Pages of the World grew from a desire to create a space where young readers could immerse themselves in stories that reflect the richness of various cultures. By providing access to a wide range of books that highlight different cultural experiences, we aim to inspire curiosity and a deeper understanding of our diverse world. I believe that when children are exposed to stories from different backgrounds, they not only gain knowledge but also develop important values like empathy, compassion, and respect for others.
Through Pages of the World, we strive to ensure that no child feels their culture is invisible or underrepresented. I am committed to making a positive impact in this area because I believe that teaching children to appreciate the differences in others is essential in building a more inclusive, compassionate society. By connecting young minds with diverse literature, we can help shape future generations who value and celebrate the world’s cultural mosaic.
